Mongolian coal exports jump 31% MoM in November

Mongolian coal exports totalled 9.35 million tonnes in November, marking a sizable jump of 31% from October, Mysteel Global calculated based on data from Mongolia's Customs General Administration.

 This significant rise mainly reflected the low comparison base recorded in October when shipments to China – the primary export destination for Mongolian coal – were disrupted by a seven-day border closure during China's National Day holiday and by political turmoil in Mongolia, as Mysteel Global reported.
